女性の社会進出が進み、法的にも経済的にも自立できるようになり、さらに行政や社会が充分な子育て支援をしてくれる社会では、男性が自分の遺伝子を残す目的としての「夫婦」はすでに有名無実化している。これからの男性たちは、互いに「自分の子ではないとわかっていても」子育てを助けるようになっていくでしょう。ちょうど鳥類のつがいのように。
